Bye Bye Windy City!

After looking at all of my pictures from Chicago (and then having to take a nap because there were so many, ha ha) I realized that it looks as though today's post will be the final post on our trip to Chi-Town. 

So without further adieu here's the rest of our trip to Chicago in a nutshell:

          Here we have a random building.  But look closely... What are those 2 small dots on the side? 

     Oh you know, they're just PEOPLE!  Talk about having a thrilling job!  These are window washers.

So at this point in the day we're hungry, starving, absolutely famished.  Plus, we had to have a hot dog!  It's one of those things that Chicago is famous for.  After researching (back to the Frommer's!) we found a hot dog store in our neck of the woods.  I think that the most famous ones were up by Wrigley Field, but since we only had 1 day and 0 cars, we kept everything in walking distance. 

That's not to say that we were disappointed though.  We went to Gold Coast Dogs and ordered Chicago Style hot dogs, with no ketchup thank you very much!  Due to the fact that it was naptime, we enjoyed our dogs in the comforts of our hotel room.  :)  They were everything I thought they would be!

 After nap and lunch time we decided to take a boat tour.  This was really fun, and we got to see lots of things and hear about how they came to be/fun facts about them.  Por ejemplo, this little beauty:

 Or giant beauty.  The designer of this building said that there were no right angles in nature, so he would have none in his building.  And yes, those are cars.  I am so glad I am not a valet for this place! 

 That evening we had dinner and walked along the lake toward the gold coast.  It was super nice and fun.

The next day we woke up bright and early and headed back to Georgia.  It was a short trip and it was super full of fun!

Try not to cry.  I know it's been fun, but now it's time to move on.  Plus, I have some super exciting other things to show you!
