Happy 4th of July!

Okay, so It's the 30th of July now.  However, this has been an extremely busy month for us.  Between all of the traveling, and home renovation projects (more on that later), we have been totally swamped! 

This is that really good kind of swamped though.  The seeing friends and family, hanging out together, going for family runs, kind of swamped. 

Anyway, we did a really fun thing this year for the 4th of July.  We went from Georgia to Asheville NC to visit some lifelong favorites of ours.  Every year our friends David and Sherrye host a huge shin- dig at their house.  We're talking super yummy food, and every lawn game you can imagine.

 This is not to mention the Corn Hole, Ping Pong, Bocce Ball, and Croquet.  It was a picnic-ers dream!

One of the kid highlights of the day was the double, super fun slip n slide.  The water streamed out of the mountains so it was really chilly but that didn't seem to hold anyone back

When we weren't eating or enjoying multitudes of fun yard games. We were visting in one of the many cool areas of the yard. There was a tire swing, a regular porch swing, a double sided bench swing next to a spring, and a big porch.

Overall it was a super fun day with some of our most favorite people.  Also, it was David (the host's) birthday!
