Mother's Day

To Mommies, and especially to my mommy, on her first Mother's Day.

For all the diaper changes,
the late-night wakings.
For wiping barf off my face, and your face, again and again,
followed by endless hugs and kisses
That show me just how much you love me.
For putting me first, every day,
teaching me so many things.
For taking my picture thousands of times.

You deserve a very special day, and I am so thankful for you!
