The River

On the North side of the Chicago River you have the Magnificent Mile, the Navy Pier, and the Gold Coast. On the South side is the Millenium Park, the "Loop", and our hotel. On the river itself are lots of boat tours and even some kayakers.

Either side, this is an important river and we walked along it, looked at it, and even rode on it the whole time we were in Chi-town.

We crossed it a few times each day that we were there and our hotel room had a gorgeous view of the river. It was kind of a big part of our trip because it was pretty and it served as a real landmark for us when we didn't know where we were (which was often!)

Along the river (on the North side) are some restaurants, my favorite condos that I have EVER seen (now all I need is approximately 4 million dollars), and a pretty fountain. Every night this fountain shoots river water over the river in what is supposed to look like an arc, but all of the water sprays down onto the river. Oh well.

And... Cameron Slept some more. Traveling is exhausting when you're a baby!
