I have also enjoyed the traditions that have come up around Easter throughout the years. I enjoy Peeps, and bunnies, and Easter baskets. I thoroughly enjoyed giving Cameron an Easter basket, and I think he enjoyed it too!

"Kelly, what do you put in an 8 month old's Easter basket?" and I will tell you
1) Soccer Ball shaped Easter basket that I gave to his father when we were dating
2)Ball shaped chicken stuffed animal that we couldn't resist
3) Swimsuit (one of these will be going in all future Easter baskets)
4) Previously owned (hey, he doesn't know!) Baby Einstein video and Easter Story board book
5) High chair suction cup toy
Not to mention that he got ANOTHER basket from the Easter bunny at Grandma's house! What a lucky boy! In that he had a very sweet little praying stuffed animal, a light up rubber ducky, a book, Peeps (for Mommy), and some sweet shoes. He loved that basket too.
He also enjoyed a very tricky Easter Egg hunt:
Victory!
But that's not the only victory. Easter is a big deal to us. Easter is the day that we celebrate how Jesus died for us, but more importantly that Jesus lived for us after dying. His resurrection is what sets him apart from everybody. That was the day that changed everything.
Today I finally get that and I am so grateful for him.
