We have been so blessed with gifts and furniture. I feel like many people have contributed to this room either by actually giving us a piece of it, or by sending us love to put into it.
Come on in!

You've seen the crib by itself, but here it is again. :) I really do love this crib. The three frames above the crib are soon to have pictures of little Cameron parts in them like his sweet little feet and hands and such. We put the pictures up and then attached the ribbon from Michaels to the wall. The little bear in the corner is his night light and the other corner is his baby monitor receiver.

Next, Lukas and I looked a lot of places for some art pieces that could go up on the wall. We didn't really know what we wanted or how we wanted them to look, so we decided to take the adventurous road and paint some pictures ourselves. Neither of us had ever painted a canvas before.
I am really pleasantly surprised with how they turned out and I'm glad that we could give these to Cameron and make them for his room. The teachers in us took the numbers and letters route. :)

And of course, you know how I feel about his letters. Okay, I'll tell you again... I love them.

Now, you've seen the book nook. But what you haven't seen is the book nook along with the basket of books we received from our shower. Instead of cards, people got us children's books and I loved that idea! Now we have all sorts of books to read to baby Cameron and trust me, we have already started! Oh, and another cool thing, not one book was a repeat! That's hard to do!

And in the book nook, we have... The chair. This chair is SO comfortable and I can't wait for all of the bonding, reading, snuggling, and gliding that is going to occur in this chair! It's nestled all snug in the book nook and it glides, but it doesn't look like a glider. It's a slip cover too, so if it gets dirty, we get to wash it!

Bella loves the chair and the nursery too!

I think the last corner of the room is the changing table/dresser. I don't know if you remember, but the dresser was the first piece of furniture we received for the nursery. It's going to start out as a changing table and eventually house toys and trophies and little boy things.

So there's his little nest. :) Putting together a nursery was a lot of fun. It is cool to put things together with him in mind and really built up the excitement! We are SO ready and we can't wait to bring baby Cameron back to his new home.
