26 Weeks and what a day to be a Mama!

First of all... Happy Mother's Day to all moms, whether or not you've already birthed your baby. :)

My day started out with a lovely picture frame given to me by my baby (the grown one AND the one in my tummy). It's light blue and says ABC. I had a delicious barbecue at the in-laws house and came home to relax with the hubby and dog for the rest of the day. This is the life!

News Number 2:

My gallbladder ultrasound was "unofficially normal" according to the sonogram lady, however, I probably won't get any official results until tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

There's more...

Yesterday Lukas and I went to Ikea to purchase our "book nook". We purchased 2 "Ribba" Picture Ledges that are 45" long and put them up on the wall to hold books. Our glider (which will be discussed at a later time) is going to go under the nook so that we can read and rock and relax all the time!

Now, I put books on the nook for the sake of the picture, but it's not likely that "The Christmas Story" is going to be a nightly read, so I'm definitely going to be in need of more books. :)

How far along? 26 Weeks AND we have less than 100 days to go!!!!
Total weight gain/loss: + about 14
Maternity clothes? Yes. Lots of stretchy, low cut, elastic for me.
Sleep: I've been having crazy dreams. I keep dreaming that people are dying in weird ways around me and it's pretty creepy!
Best moments this past week: Starting childbirth class and watching my husband FREAK out with the videos. Ha ha.
Food cravings: Um... I'm not proud to say that I craved, left work to buy, and then DEVOURED a strawberry shortcake from Publix this week. Not my proudest moment, but it was SOO yummy!
Gender: boy
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: Hot dogs. This week, big time.
What I am looking forward to: Cherilyn and Joe's wedding this Saturday. It's going to be dreamy and wonderful.

AND...

I get to finally meet baby Isaac.
Weekly Wisdom: Breathe, you're almost done with school.

And now the baby is...

An eggplant! He's also about a pound and 2/3. His eyes are forming and will be blinking in the next couple of weeks! His hearing is heightened and he's really getting to know the sound of our voices.

Sidenote: The super nice ultrasound lady scooted her camera down so that I could see the little baby the other day. I must say, he's grown in the last 6 weeks since I saw him last! He has the cutest little profile and I can't wait to meet him!

He's also moving constantly (at night). It's a lot of fun to see my belly bouncing up and down!

And the bump...

I skipped last week, so here's a Mother's day shot.
