Painting Party

It's a known fact in the Hefty household that we have some really nice friends. It has been so fun seeing how everyone has been so excited about everything and jumping all over opportunities to help us!

For example, (and yes this is one example of the many), Tuesday after the party we went down to the good old Home Depot to pick up some paint.

What a big decision!?

It is so hard to look at all of these different shades of the same color and decide what color is going to surround baby Hefty. After a lot of process of elimination, we decided on a very light, almost white, blue. I didn't want to walk into the room and say AHHH BLUE! I think that we accomplished the goal of subtlety. In the end, the goal is to have accents of blue and white all over the room. I can't wait to see the finished product!

So, back to the friends, our dear friends came right over and got to work. We (they) took out carpets, moved furniture, and did 2 coats of blue up on our walls while I dusted and stayed away from the room.
